Calm: he’s rarely anxious or nervous about anything, living around screaming and crying kids his whole life he got used to stay calm even on the most stressfull situations. he walks around life with a calm demeanor, trying to solve everything peacefully and without making a big deal out of it, is vague about almost everything and rarely takes a stand.
'Quirky': because of his unusual beliefs and habits and the fact he has little clue about how to treat older people, some might consider him quirky and a little socially awkward. the boy lacks of self-consciousness so he's little to none aware of his personal looks or how people percieve him. calum often wanders off in his own dream world so when taken back to reality he might arrive with some weird and misplaced ideas that make no sense whatsoever.
Kind: he's usually nice to everyone around him, both friends and strangers, sensitive, compassionate, selfless, unworldly and non-judgamental. calum cares about the well-being of everyone, and will be very obsessive about it, even if the person doesn't want to.
Lonely: mysterious even; although he is sorrounded by people, something about him makes him feel lonely, when calum is feeling overwhelmed, he will seek solitude. being alone and away from the worlds' ills allows him time to recuperate, sort his thoughts. if you chase him, he is likely to stay hidden or leave altogether.
Artistic: very creative, imaginative and intuitive. calum loves art in any of its representations. being away from the real world so often, he tends to be very gullible and easily bossed around by others. however he's also really dreamy, constantly curious about everything that sorrounds him.
Lucky: for someone so clumsy and little aware like him life should be a lot more difficult, however, he was born lucky as a leprechaun; somehow things always work out for him even at the darkest times and while some people find it funny, others get frustrated of how life can be so good to someone so stupid (this is gonna be so fun to read if he dies soon ;; ).
Stubborn: even if most people's will usually overpowers his and he will do the best for others instead of him, when an idea sticks in his mind he will do everything to accomplish it. the very few time he gets an idea he believes is possible, he will push for it even if others think its weird and won't work.
Teamwork (2) - While he has a hard time communicating 'normaly', he's a great listener and obeys without hesitation.
Combat (0) - Not being really fought a titan yet and doing poorly on the one on one fighting, Calum has little to non experience on this field.
Strategy (0) - Can't think for himself, or at least, he wont speak his mind over someone else's strat.
Mobility (3) - He turned out to be very good with the 3D maneuver gear and actually enjoys moving around with him.
Luck (5) - Everything else about his trainee phase success can be attributed to his insane luck.

✖ only reason why he won't cut his hair is because the kids at the orphanage liked it long.

Calum was walking downstairs back from his trip to the market, kids and the ladies helping at the orphanage must be waiting for him, he thought, so he decided the beautiful flowers from Miss Sara's garden could be admired later. Quickening his phase, the redhead started wondering what kind of story he could tell the kids before bed, something about the flowers on the outside world maybe, or maybe about the food their ancestors would cook during dinner, the possibilities were endless; however, all of his thinking was suddenly interrupted by a raucous noise, followed by yelling, some crying and lots of running. A man walked past Calum, making him drop his bag and all the food inside it scattered over the ground, that made him come to his senses, that wasn't a story. Looking up he found a hole in the place Wall Maria used to be; while it took it longer to figure out what was going on, in a couple of minutes he found himself running against the stream of people trying to get as far as possible from the gap. Calum, however, was in a state of shock that only moved his legs foward, towards the orphanage. "Nana!" he yelled, hoping his grandmother who lived close to the orphanage would hear him. But there was no reply. He crosssed another street and had to jump over some rubble to get there, his breathing became more and more agitated as the distance between him and the kids closed, however, before he could get his eyes on the building he could see something else. The titans had won the race to the orphanage.

background:
calum used to live with his grandmother in one of the most crowded places inside Wall Maria, since he has memory, his grandmother would help in a small children's orphanage and, because of it, thats where Calum grew up. even when his grandma retired he kept working there, cleaning, cooking, running errands and mostly taking care of the children who grew very fond of him. he was well known by his kindness towards everyone and most of the community would enjoy his company. when the wall collapsed, Calum was away from the orphanage getting food for dinner, the moment he heard screaming he started running towards the orphanage to help get the kids out, however, the building being so close to the wall, it got overrun by titans before he could even try and do something.
while alive, the kids would ask Calum to make up stories about the outside world, however, since he had no idea, his stories always changed, sometimes the outside world would be scary, sometimes pretty, dark, shiny, beautiful, but most of the times it was mysterious. after a long period of depression Calum decided he would go out himself, know the world he had bee talking about so much and, like he promised, would reunite with the kids to tell them how the real world was.
